Energy sector in South & East Europe is one of the most important industrial development generators. In the same time this industry sector is one of the biggest pollutants of environment.
South & East Europe gets its 70% electricity supply from thermal lignite coal fired power plants. Equipment in this thermal power generation is outdated. The level of energy efficiency of this facilities, including all technological processes is quite low when it compare it with EU standards and examples from practice.
